Therino Cinema is happening this Wednesday! Did you guess the movie? Join us for Μια τρελλή τρελλή οικογένεια (A crazy crazy family) by Φίνος Φιλμ, who else? The HSA Therino Cinema will take place at the Sidney-Pacific Graduate Residence on June 24th, 7.30pm – 10.30pm. Use the entrance on Sidney Street, next to the Pacific Street Cafe. English subtitles will be included.

The HSA’s favorite tradition is back: it’s Glenti time!
Join us this coming Friday for a night filled with Greek food, drinks, and dancing.

We’ll start with traditional dances (with a short intro around 9 PM) and continue with music for everyone to enjoy throughout the night. Come hungry, bring your friends, and get ready for an evening of “kefi”!

Dear HSA members,

As the semester fades into the warm Aegean breeze of summer (if only), there’s one final tradition we need to honor: HSA Elections!

Yes, it’s the time of the year to reflect on a year’s worth of souvlaki gatherings and pass the torch (or skewer) to the new HSA executive board!

**Event Details**

When: Thursday May 15, 7– 9 PM

Where: ΜΙΤ Room 2-105

Eligibility: MIT students can vote and run for all positions. MIT postdocs, research scientists/fellows, faculty, and staff can vote. They can
also run for all positions except President and Treasurer (MIT ASA restriction). Students from other universities cross-registered at MIT can vote, but not run.

Open Positions: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and three Officer roles.

Voting: In-person, by secret ballot. If you wish to run or vote remotely, please
email us at [email protected] at
least 24 hours in advance, including a
means to contact you during the elections (e.g. phone number).

Come for the democracy, stay for the nostalgia—and help shape the next chapter of HSA!

The wait is finally ova - the biggest event of the year is finally here!

HSA Easter 2025 is coming soon, and it's going to be an egg-stravaganza you don’t want to miss!

What will be on the table:

~ Spit-roasted lambs - turning slowly, disappearing quickly

~ Grilled pork souvlaki - perfection on a stick

~ Moussaka & Pastitsio - no introductions needed

~ Galaktoboureko & Baklava - sweet dreams are made of these

~ Live Greek music - to get everybody in the mood

For pre-sale tickets, please go to linktr.ee/hsaofmit to get your ticket through AdMIT One! Pre-sales will conclude on April 19 at 5pm! Please note that MIT’s ticket selling platform also charges a 5% convenience fee.
