The Arts in the Small Community:
A National Plan
by Robert E. Gard

If you try what may you expect?
First a community welded through art to a new consciousness of self.
A new being, perhaps a new appearance—A people proud of achievement which lifts them through the creative above the ordinary...
A new opportunity for children to find exciting experiences in art, and to carry this excitement on throughout their lives...
A mixing of peoples and backgrounds through art,
a new view of hope for mankind and an elevation of man...
not degradation.
New values for individual and community life AND a sense that here in our place we are contributing to the maturity of a great nation.
If you try you can indeed Alter the face and heart of America.

Thank you to everyone who attended our **“Mad Hatter’s Tea Party” Gala** and paid it forward in support of the Cambridge Summer Concert Season. Your enthusiasm, creativity, fabulous costumes, and generous hearts were absolutely spot on. Because of you, the music plays on! 🎶✨

We loved seeing Wonderland come to life — share your photos with us!

Endless thanks to our incredible Gala Committee — Jen Wallman, Lauren Kelly, Laurie Struss, Vanessa Roberts, Samantha Dalsing, Natasha Zinzow, and Kristen Stockwell (who did an absolutely amazing job with every magical detail!) — for bringing this event to life with such heart and imagination.

A special thank you to Cambridge Winery for generously hosting us, and to the many talented artists who donated their work to our auction. Together, we make the arts thrive in our community.

We can’t wait to see you at Veterans Park on June 5th for our first concert featuring hometown favorite The Trophy Husbands!

And it’s not too late to add your support — visit [www.cambridgewiarts.org](http://www.cambridgewiarts.org) to help keep this free community concert series going strong.

See you under the summer sky! 🎶✨

For those lucky souls attending — ohhh what a night we have planned! Come ready to wander through a wonderland of local art, lift your paddles high, and champion our extraordinary artists and the beloved Summer Concert Series. Expect delight, a dash of mischief, and perhaps a surprise or two up our sleeves… or on our walls.

We’ll see you at Cambridge Winery — doors swing open at 5! 🍷✨
And when the clock strikes “more fun,” tumble along with us to the after party at Cash & Olives Pub.

Prepare to tumble down the rabbit hole into a world of extraordinary art! We’ll have an enchanting collection of pieces for you to admire — and perhaps claim before they vanish like the Cheshire Cat’s grin.

These wonderfully talented artists have graciously agreed to let us showcase their creations… and this isn’t even everyone. We must keep a few marvels tucked beneath our hats (or cleverly hidden on the walls). After all, what would Wonderland be without a bit of mischief and surprise?

And here’s a bit of heartfelt magic behind the curtain — some of these incredible artists simply donate without showing their work to our auction because they care deeply about our community and believe in keeping the music playing all summer long. That kind of generosity deserves the biggest Mad Hatter cheer of all. 🎩💛

✨ A handful of tickets are still available for this Summer Concert Fundraiser this Saturday, February 28th, from 5–8 at Cambridge Winery at www.cambridgewiarts.org. When the tea party winds down, don’t be late for the after-party at Cash & Olive's Pub — because in Wonderland, the night only gets curiouser and curiouser!

It’s going to be delightfully mad — in the very best way!

♣️♥️ **Curiouser and Curiouser!** ♦️♠️

This year, our Live Auction at the Cambridge Winery, THIS SATURDAY February 28th, has tumbled straight down the rabbit hole — and what we found is practically *impossible*… in the very best way!

Alongside our extraordinary one-of-a-kind art pieces, we are unveiling a most enchanting treasure:

✨ **A 7-Day Stay in Puerto Rico at Casa Mañana!** ✨

A week in paradise? Why, that’s more delightful than a table full of tea and not a crumb in sight!
Sun-kissed beaches, swaying palms, sparkling waters — a place where time slows down and memories are made.

You may peek behind the curtain (or through the looking glass) ahead of time at **casamananapr.com**.

When the auction begins, channel your inner Queen of Hearts and **bid high and bid often!** 👑
This is not the moment to be “mad” about getting a bargain — instead, think of your winning bid as a splendid bonus for supporting our beloved Summer Concert Series. Every paddle raised keeps the music playing!

With grand gratitude to **Matt Gent and Courtney Jenkins** for sharing their beautiful corner of paradise with those who champion the arts. They truly are the most generous hosts in all the land!

Don’t be late for this very important date — it promises to be wonderfully, magically, delightfully mad! 🎩✨

Limited tickets still available at www.cambridgewiarts.org.

it refuses to stay blue for long… because honestly, purple is far more fun. 😉

And for those of you who choose to show up in your wildest Wonderland attire…
🎩🌹🐇 remember to strut your stuff for the winery staff!

🎟️ Better grab your tickets soon — we’ve got amazing art, plenty of whimsy, and a seriously fun night planned… all in support of our Summer Concert Series.
