Recent data suggests that the risk of type 1 diabetes may also be related to imbalances in methylation; this would fit with my own findings & research. This article also describes the role of imbalances in DNA methylation & the increased risk of other autoimmune conditions. This is yet another reason I suggest to check your methylation cycle is in balance. As always, consult with your health care professional.
