Our seniors are making the most of this summer! Last month, they went on a summer cruise trip through Cambridge and Boston, and their energy was pure joy! Many thanks to the Ministério dos Negócios Estrangeiros de Portugal and República Portuguesa for making this trip possible with their grant support of our Senior Center🚌❤️ Consulado-Geral de Portugal em Boston.

📝🧡 We close out June, National Immigrant Heritage Month, with this moving poem written by Maria Melo, member of our Centro Da Melhor Idade da MAPS, which beautifully captures the experience of courage, strength, and "saudade" that marks the lives of all those who left their homeland in search of prosperity.

To all immigrants, today and always, we offer our deep admiration for your courage and gratitude for everything you give to your new home.
