🤝 💙 Tim Toomey has been a great friend to our community and a steadfast champion of MAPS and our Centro Da Melhor Idade da MAPS for over 30 years!

This new fund within our Endowment created in his family name in support of our Senior Center, made possible by the generous award recently given to the former state representative and Cambridge city councilor by our friends and longtime suporters Amigos da Terça, will forever establish Tim as a crucial part of the MAPS legacy.

🐕‍🦺🚶🏻‍♂️Congrats to our friends at the Joe & Dorothy Chaves Foundation for another successful Joe Chaves 5K Memorial Walk this past weekend!

It was a great honor to attend this event this past weekend and honor the everlasting philanthropic legacy of our dear friend Luis Pedroso, who did so much for MAPS and our communities. Thank You Amanda Dinis Varga for honoring your uncle's legacy with such dignity and compassion.

🤵‍♂️✨It was a very busy weekend at MAPS with several amazing community events, starting with the Amigos da Terça’s Black and White Gala in honor of our dear friend Tim Toomey this past Saturday in Lowell, who was recognized for his outstanding career of 30+ years of public service and support of our community.

We were deeply honored to be his chosen philanthropic organization to receive the $5k award to create the Tim Toomey Family Fund in the MAPS Endowment. Tim chose the MAPS Senior Center as the purpose for his new Family Legacy Fund. Thank you so much, Tim, and congratulations! Parabéns Tim e a todos os Amigos 🍾 👏
