Cultural Survival Bazaars The Cultural Survival Bazaars are a series of Indigenous cultural festivals, celebrating the arts, m

Five or six times a year, the Bazaars bring local Greater-Boston-area communities together with Native artists from dozens of countries. Against a backdrop of Indigenous music and arts of all kinds, the Bazaars encourage exchange, connection, learning, and relationships that carry far beyond the events themselves.

That’s how we spent our weekend at Terra Madre Salone del Gusto by Slow Food! 🌱

It was a wonderful opportunity to give people a taste of what our are all about, celebrating Indigenous cultures, voices, food, and traditions.

We had the opportunity to speak with Dali Nolasco, who is leading Slow Food’s efforts to include Indigenous Peoples and Communities at Terra Madre Salone del Gusto.
For generations, Indigenous Peoples have protected seeds, knowledge, biodiversity, and the environment. Their food systems are good, clean, and fair, long before these words became part of the food movement. 🌱
