🌟 Meet Our New Board Director! 🌟

Please join us in welcoming our newest Minnesota Mounted Shooters Association Board Director, Kendra Butler!

Although this is only her second season competing in mounted shooting, she has already developed a deep passion for the sport. After attending one of Taylor Harper’s introductory mounted shooting clinics, she was hooked and hasn’t looked back since.

Currently competing at the Level 1 division, she loves the camaraderie within our club and the unique combination of strategy, challenge, and mental focus that makes mounted shooting so rewarding. One of her favorite MMSA memories is attending the annual awards banquet, where members come together to celebrate accomplishments and enjoy a fun evening with friends.

You’ll often find her alongside her horse, Baddie 🦇, a 6 year old old bay mare who began her mounted shooting journey right alongside her in 2025.

As a Board Director, she’s excited to help grow the sport, support our members, and ensure our club continues to thrive. She looks forward to working with fellow board members to build on what makes MMSA special while creating new opportunities for the future.

Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

To all of our veterans, active service members, and the families who stand behind them, thank you. Your courage, sacrifice, and dedication will never be forgotten.

This Memorial Day, may we take a moment to reflect on the cost of freedom and remember those who gave everything for our country.

We had a great weekend to kick off our first event and the weather couldn’t have been better on Saturday, we even squeaked out the entire shoot Sunday before the rain!
