NRP Sagres will be in Boston representing Portugal in the commemorations of the 250th Anniversary of American Independence.

With an intense official program, NRP Sagres will also be open to free visits from the public without prior booking. The ship will be docked at Boston's Fish Pier.

The Portuguese community will be very welcome aboard to experience a unique tall ship and help celebrate the contribution of the Portuguese to the building of this country.

On Sunday, May 3rd, Escola Portuguesa de Cambridge e Somerville joined musicians from Portugal, Cape Verde and Brazil in celebrating World Portuguese Language Day. The event was organized by the Consulates General of Portugal, Cape Verde and Brazil, with support from Camões - Institute for Cooperation and Language, and in partnership with the Cambridge Public Library.
