ACTION NEEDED! 🚨

Earlier this year, Lower Adirondack Pride requested that the Town of Greenwich fly a Pride Flag during the month of June in recognition of the Town’s LGBTQIA+ residents.

On tonight’s agenda is a proposed local law titled “A Local Law Regulating the Display of Flags on Town Property.” We ask that the vote be postponed to allow for further discussion regarding the inclusion of the Pride Flag and other National Heritage Flags within the policy.

Older adults, caregivers, and community members are invited to join us for Aging with Pride on Wednesday, June 24, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Common Roots in South Glens Falls.

This free community program will explore essential topics related to aging in the LGBTQIA+ community, including support services, estate planning, home safety, and resources for caregivers. Dinner will be provided at no cost.

Aging with Pride is presented by the Alzheimer's Association in collaboration with Lower Adirondack Pride, Eddy Alzheimer's Services, and Herzog Law Firm. This program is supported in part through a grant provided by the New York State Department of Health.
