Cambridge Climate Change Week 2011

Cambridge Climate Change Week 2011 Cambridge Climate Change Week 2011, May 13-21 Cambridge's first ever Climate Change Week will be held the third week of May as part of the City's GoGreen Month.

The theme of the week is: Why Climate Change is an Emergency and What We Can Do About It. Inspired by the Brookline Climate Week held in January, this is a landmark citizen initiative supported by many local groups and proclaimed by the Cambridge City Council. With your help the week will be a grand success. With speakers, inter-active displays and presentations, this week is focused on education

and community action. Find out what Climate Change means and what can be done on an individual and collaborative basis. Hear and share personal climate-related stories from all parts of the world to connect and inspire. A full program of events is still in process. Please contact us if you or an organization you belong to would like to make a presentation and/or participate, if you can volunteer and be involved in the planning stages or help during the week of events.
