Some things change with time… and some become part of the story. ❤️

This week’s Then & Now takes us to Kennedy’s Bakery, shown here in 1937 and today.

While the storefront and Downtown Cambridge around it have changed over the years, Kennedy’s Bakery is a wonderful example of the history that continues to live right here in our downtown.

That’s one of our favorite things about exploring Downtown Cambridge—you never know how much history is hiding in the buildings and businesses you pass every day. 🏛️

Take a closer look the next time you’re downtown. Every building has a story.
