Cambridge-Yerevan Sister City Association (CYSCA) invites you to “Dove of Peace: Art Treasures and History from the Cambridge-Yerevan Sister City Association” as we celebrate the official acceptance of the CYSCA Records into the Cambridge Public Library’s Archives and Special Collections! Thursday April 16, 2026, 7 PM – 8:30 PM in the Community Room at the Cambridge Public Library (Main), 449 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02138. With food, music, and featuring guest speaker Gary Lind-Sinanian, Collections Curator of the Armenian Museum of America. On October 28, Cambridge-Yerevan Sister City Association co-hosted a panel discussion event with the Fletcher School at Tufts University, titled "Building Trust in Democratic Institutions: Perspectives from Law, Justice, and Public Service." The panelists were Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Justice Gabrielle Wolohojian, MA State Rep. David Muradian, and Middlesex County Sheriff Peter Koutoujian. In attendance were the 16 Tavitian Scholars from Armenia studying at Fletcher this semester, and members of the Fletcher, CYSCA, and local communities. The evening featured a reception, opening remarks, panel discussion, audience Q&A, and dinner to foster dialogue and exchange among guests and participants. Come visit CYSCA's booth "Barev STEM! Together We Build Tomorrow" at the Cambridge Science Carnival. Sunday September 21, 12 PM-4 PM at the Kendall/MIT Open Space at 292 Main St. Cambridge, MA. Fun and games for children and families. Featuring 2 NGO's from Armenia that empower youth in STEM and a sustainable future: Armath and Maqoor. Come interact with STEM projects and the amazing teens from Armenia who built them! Free and open to the public.

Please join us in-person at CYSCA's 39th Annual Membership Meeting and Program on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 7:00 PM at Holy Trinity Armenian Church of Greater Boston, 145 Brattle Street, Cambridge, MA in the Charles and Nevart Talanian Cultural Hall. Our guest speaker is Alan Henrikson, Lee E. Dirks Professor of Diplomatic History Emeritus and the founding Director of Diplomatic Studies at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. He will be speaking on “Educational Diplomacy: An Armenian and American Experience.” The schedule for the evening is: business meeting at 7 PM for CYSCA members and others interested in becoming members, guest speaker Dr. Alan Henrikson at 8 PM, followed by a reception.
The event is free and open to the public!

Ani Adigyozalyan discusses the many treasures of Armenian culture and ritual discovered in the Areni-1 Cave in Vayots Dzor, including the oldest leather shoe, winery, and settlements and their historical significance. As an archeologist, Ani has participated in excavations in these caves. She is the Senior Laboratory Researcher at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography, National Academy of Sciences, Republic of Armenia, and a researcher at the History Museum of Armenia. Ani Adigyozalyan was introduced by Marc Mamigonian, NAASR Director of Academic Affairs. This event, held on September 26th at NAASR Headquarters in Belmont, MA, is sponsored by The Cambridge-Yerevan Sister City Association and the National Association For Armenian Studies and Research.
