What started as an opportunity for our Hip Hop Transformation students to step inside NBC Boston became something even bigger. They got to experience the studio, meet professionals, see what happens behind the scenes, and now their voices and their journey are being seen on television.
But this is bigger than a TV segment. This is about what happens when we give young people ACCESS. When we open doors, expose them to new possibilities, and allow them to see themselves in spaces they may have never imagined being in.
From the Cambridge Community Center to NBC Boston, our young people are learning that their creativity, their voices, their stories and their talents MATTER.
This is what we believe in at the CCC. Creating opportunities. Building confidence. Developing young people. Giving them experiences that can change the way they see themselves and their future.
To our Hip Hop Transformation students: KEEP GOING. Keep creating. Keep learning. Keep showing up. The world needs what you have to offer.
And to everyone who continues to invest in our youth, THANK YOU. Because sometimes one opportunity, one introduction or one open door can change the trajectory of a young person’s life.
Special shoutout to Thea DiGiammerino and everyone at NBC Boston for giving our young people this incredible platform!
