Vinfen was honored to welcome Massachusetts Secretary of Health and Human Services Dr. Kiame Mahaniah, along with representatives from the Department of Mental Health and Senator Julian Cyr’s office, for a firsthand look at our Cape Cod programs.

The visit included our supportive apartments, Baybridge Clubhouse, and the Hyannis Recovery Connection Center, a program run entirely for and by people with lived experience of mental health conditions and/or substance use challenges.

Thank you to Secretary Mahaniah and our state partners for their continued commitment to strengthening behavioral health services across Massachusetts.

Behind every milestone and achievement are the people and partnerships that help make progress possible. That was the spirit of Vinfen’s 19th Annual Family Celebration on October 6, when nearly 375 individuals, families, staff, and community partners came together to celebrate The Power of Partnerships.

Hosted by WCVB Channel 5 Boston’s Jessica Brown, the celebration featured an inspiring keynote address from Jamie MoCrazy, co-founder of MoCrazy Strong Brain Injury Foundation, recognition of State Senator Cindy Friedman as Public Official of the Year, and tributes to the many people who make Vinfen’s mission possible.

A warm coat can make a meaningful difference for someone facing homelessness this winter.

Vinfen's Homeless Outreach and Engagement Team is collecting new and gently used adult-size winter coats through Nov. 30 to help neighbors on Cape Cod experiencing homelessness. Your donation can provide physical warmth, safety, and dignity during the colder months.

Recovery is strengthened by connection, shared experience, and support.

Last week, Vinfen’s Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) in Lowell hosted a Recovery Celebration for clients, staff, and families. Recovery Coach Jim Britigan and Peer Specialist Jenn McCartyshared their lived experiences, and attendees learned more about recovery services available through the CBHC.
