❤THIS LADY! WOW! Laurie Struss is the Director and co-founder of Midwest Fire Fest. She puts in countless hours year-round to pull off this exceptional arts experience for you, for creatives and artists across the country, and for our lovely little village and its businesses. It's a huge, huge job with zillions of details and heavy lifting. But wait, there's more. She also runs the Cambridge Arts Council, the Cambridge Summer Concert Series, and the winter gala, and was former director of Earth, Wood and Fire, and the Cambridge Pottery Festival. Seen here with her Fire Fest co-founder and creative director Mark Skudlarek, she is the heart and soul of what we do. There is no end to our gratitude for her tireless efforts that have made Cambridge a thriving arts community for decades. Take a well-deserved bow, Laurie! ❤

What a night! VO5 was on fire, the sculpture was totally on fire and the crowd was absolutely phenomenal! Thank y'all for making it a special night in Cambridge. Come on back today for more fun at West Side Park!

Let's do it again! Today, 10-4, West Side Park in jolly old Cambridge. See the pit firing reveal at noon, and the giant sculpture kiln revealed around noon. Michael King piano hits at 11, Val Sigal's accordion polka party from 1 to 3, the Fire tribe performs at 11:30 and 1:45. 30 artists, food trucks, yummy beer, and Dancing Goat samples to boot. See ya at the most unique Fest in the Midwest.
