MIT Food+Agriculture Club

MIT Food+Agriculture Club Members are actively engaged in advocating for and supporting the development of a more sustainable food system on our own campus.

The MIT Food and Agriculture Club brings together students – and other MIT community members – to coordinate and support work in the areas of food and agriculture. We also work to enhance MIT’s role in contributing to the broader discourse on agricultural sustainability across the global system.

Hi Everyone! We are Zhenya Karelina, Dillon Wiesner and Cristina Bleicher, 2nd year MBA students at the MIT Sloan School of Management, and this year's co-presidents of the MIT Food & Agriculture Club!

Last year, we noticed that it was difficult to connect with different MIT departments, different Boston schools, and Boston community in general. We were also getting a lot of requests to share information. We created a ***private Facebook group*** to fill this void!

To join, click "groups" in the side bar on the page, request to join, and answer a few questions about yourself.

We hope that you think of this as *your* place ... to ask questions, share relevant articles, and post about relevant events for our community.

This past weekend we traveled to San Francisco for our Food & Ag Career Trek. We visited Good Eggs, an organic grocery delivery company, and Impossible Foods, maker of the famed Impossible Burger. We capped off the weekend with visits to the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market and Pie Ranch, where we learned about sustainable farming methods and helped w**d the strawberry beds. Thank you to everyone that hosted us!
