MIT Women's League The MIT Women's League is a social and service-based organization, founded in 1913.

The League with a current membership of more than 1,400 reflects a broad range of age, culture, talent, and role in the community; this diversity enriches the individual and strengthens the fabric of the League. The League offers ways to:

MEET people you may not otherwise meet
LEARN something new
HELP one another and the community
DISCOVER ways to make a difference
SERVE on a

This October we're collecting new, unopened personal care items for Transition House, the nation's first Domestic Violence shelter located right here in Cambridge. Drop off items at 11-101 through October. We're looking for: shampoo, soap, toothpaste, deodorant, shaving cream & razors, face wash, body wash & mouthwash. You can also drop off a gift card if you prefer!

Come join the MIT Women’s Chorale as we experience the joy of making music together! New singers from throughout the MIT community are welcome on Wednesdays evenings, beginning on September 10th, from 7-9 pm in Building 4, as we practice for our December concert.

The Chorale, a concert choir focused on music for treble voice, is led by our talented music director, Nhung Truong, who makes each rehearsal a pleasure. The MIT Women’s Chorale invites you to its spring concert, “Transcendence,” on Saturday, May 4 at 6pm at Harvard-Epworth United Methodist Church. Conducted by Nhung Truong, the concert will feature the lovely Messe brève of Léo Delibes with string quartet, duets of George Frederic Handel, an exciting piece by Elaine Hagenberg, and pieces by Eduardo Cota and Craig Cornelia. This event is free and open to all. Donations are accepted.

MIT GetFit is offering daily tunnel walks, and we thought it would be fun to get together and check it out! Next week, we're walking on Tuesday, April 2 and Friday, April 5. Both walks are half an hour, from 12:10-12:40pm. On April 2, meet in the Stata lobby with the big mirror, right inside the Collier Memorial entrance. On April 5, meet in Lobby 7 under the Belonging + Community sign. Walks may include stairs and inclines, so wear your comfy shoes. This event is free and open to all, so you can just turn up, but if you register you'll get a friendly reminder!
