Today Nairi had the pleasure of meeting two wonderful therapy dogs at the Happy Tail Hangout event hosted by the Quinnipiac University Student Programming Board and Camp No Limits Program 💞

Henry and Cricket brought lots of smiles to the college students on campus, and Nairi had the chance to learn about their journeys to therapy dog work from their handlers 🐾 (and look at those customized bandanas 👀)

The best part - the funds raised will go toward a summer camp for youth with limb differences and their siblings, hosted by the Quinnipiac University Physical Therapy Department and Occupational Therapy Department 🐯 follow Camp No Limits to learn more about their programs throughout the US

📢‼️Today Nairi had the pleasure of meeting the Lexington Police Department's two cutest officers, Watson 🦮 and Maisey 🐕‍🦺

Those who have attended our presentations know that we dive into all the details about service, therapy, and emotional support dogs. With community resource dogs (CRDs) increasing in prevelance, we wanted to learn more so we can include them in our educational programming 👩🏻‍🏫Lucky for us, Watson and Maisey hold
monthly 🐾paw-fice hours🐾 where Nairi was able meet them and their handlers!

We would like to thank School Resource Officers Hankins👮🏼‍♀️and Sullivan👮🏻‍♂️for beng so generous wi their time and sharing the wealth of knowledge from their experiences. This will help us expand our educational activities to include CRDs as yet another example of the practical application of the human-canine bond 🫶🏼🐶 As a relatively new model for working dogs, the process of integrating CRDs still has a lot of variation between municipalities, so we hope we will have more opportunities to connect with local police departments with similar programs to deepen our knowledge on the topic 🤓📚
