Get Connected! Computer Clinic donates computers to low-income groups and individuals who are searching for housing or jobs and seeking to network with others. At our clinic, directed by experienced computer professionals and staffed by many students and volunteers, we refurbish donated computers and make them available to people that would not be able to afford one. This campaign empowers women and other individuals in low-income community’s transition to self-sufficiency by facilitating a worker-owned and operated cooperative enterprises so that low income group and individuals earn livable wages that allow them to thrive rather than to simply survive.

Get Connected provides training in software, hardware, for computer beginners, as well as advanced learners, students, and interns to get valuable field experience supervised by seasoned computer professionals. It also does computer repair service for individuals who can’t afford to take their computers to regular repair shops, as well as to nonprofit organizations, and small business in the area Our repair service is unique in that it is the only one in the area that offers lifetime warranty i.e. as long as the program exists, program participates can always bring donated computers for repair and make them work.

The clinic provides vital services in Cambridge, Somerville and the Greater Boston area.
