As a community, we can all come together to connect, heal, and grow together. Collective action brings collective impact that none of us could do on our own. This partnership of Dorchester County Public Schools, Mid Shore Behavioral Health, Inc., Harvesting Hope Youth and Family Wellness, Inc, and Moving Dorchester Forward brings together those folks with anyone who wants to come together for good. Happy Friday Everyone! The Holiday weekend is upon us - I wish you all that you are seeking this weekend and that the meaning that it has for you comes thru!

We have an awesome event planned for Saturday. Jennifer Lehn and the team at the Y will have everything setup for a true community coming together. There will be free food and activities for all.

See and share the attachment!

Please plan to attend with yourself and those special to you. AND make sure that you send this out to your network of friends and neighbors throughout the community.

Come at 9:30 if you want to hear an update on all the good that the Campaign for Grade-Level Reading is doing with partners throughout the community to help build a strong reading foundation for all.

I picked up a new grill that also comes with a pizza oven on it - I'll start that at 10 when the games and activities start. Come join us!

As we come to the end of our first summer, we are meeting with groups all over the county to share what we have learned, and determine the best ways we can be helpful to the community moving forward. Had a great conversation recently with the Rotary, who has been doing good in the community for over a century, and has dynamic leadership in President Jodi Garvin. Thank you all for a collaborative conversation!
