We have some exciting news! Cummings Foundation’s annual grant program has awarded The Foundry Consortium $225,000 over three years! 🎉🎉

Since its founding, Cummings Foundation has awarded more than $650 million to Greater Boston nonprofits, and we’re thrilled to be one of the 150 nonprofits selected this year!

This grant helps us continue to increase access to creativity, learning, and connection by supporting artists and educators and ensuring community access through workshops, classes, performances, exhibitions, workforce development opportunities, and youth programs.

Heads up- The Foundry building will be closed for regular programming for most of Tuesday, June 16 for our JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION. We’ll be open for regular programming after 4 pm.

We hope you’ll come by and celebrate with us. The celebration is free to attend and open to all, though we designed the event with seniors and families in mind so please bring a loved one or come alone. We’ll have something for everyone to enjoy!

Join us at The Foundry as we partner with Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House for our second annual Juneteenth Community Celebration on Tuesday, June 16th from 12pm - 4pm.

We’ll have free food, activities, games, and organizations from all over the area gathering to celebrate Juneteenth. This event is made with seniors and families in mind, so please bring a loved one or come alone – there will be something for everyone to enjoy!

STEM Slam is BACK! We’re excited to partner with (and friends) on May 1st from 6 pm to 8:45 pm for a night of art, talent, STEM, and education.

This is a FREE event! 🎟️ Tickets in bio link and at bit.ly/StemSlam2026. See you there!

The five pillars of STEM slam are to:
• Support joyful STEM exploration
• Spotlight multi-generational storytellers
• Showcase local talent
• Share HBCU-inspired culture
• Strengthen connections between STEM industries, colleges, and local communities.

We’re hiring passionate STEM and Dance Instructors for ’s Girls Rise Up, a dynamic summer program where girls of color learn to code, dance, and unlock their STEM potential.

As an instructor, you’ll lead engaging lessons in STEM or dance, build confidence and critical thinking skills, and inspire students to bring their ideas to life. If you have an electric energy, love working with young people, and believe in the power of STEM and dance to empower, we want to hear from you!
