We're evolving!

The Institute for Technology & Global Health (ITGH) is now The Public Innovation Institute (PII) , reflecting our expanded mission to accelerate innovation and invention for the public good.

What began as a program connecting students, researchers, and city leaders around health and technology has expanded across six core areas: Global and Public Health, Education and Workforce Innovation, Climate and Environment, Economic Transformation, Civic and Digital Infrastructure, and Data and Responsible AI.

Our goal remains the same: to connect research, policy, and practice, and to build capacity for innovation that strengthens public institutions and improves lives.

In the weeks ahead, PII will launch a series of new initiatives designed to strengthen public sector capacity for innovation and governance. These include new municipal partnerships, greater private sector engagements, and expanded opportunities for students through our existing and new programs. Each initiative builds on our core belief that public institutions can and must lead in shaping the future of innovation.
