Only 8 DAYS UNTIL MURAL MASTERS‼️ Today we’re πŸ“’ANNOUNCINGπŸ’₯ our 3rd of 4 selected lead artists!!!

Josh Beckett is a Boston-based visual artist and educator whose work explores identity as layered, lived, and constantly evolving. Working across painting, illustration, and public art, he centers Black figures and narratives with emotional depth, symbolism, and presence. His work resists simplification, allowing vulnerability, confidence, contradiction, and myth to coexist within a unified visual language. Drawing from personal experience, cultural memory, and contemporary visual culture, he uses expressive mark-making and bold color to invite reflection and sustained looking. The figure becomes a site of narrative and feeling, where gesture and atmosphere carry meaning alongside form. Through both his artwork and teaching, Beckett creates accessible, affirming spaces that honor complexity and position Black presence as expansive and essential.

Let the countdown begin! Today we’re πŸ“’ANNOUNCINGπŸ’₯ our 1st of 4 selected Mural Master lead artists!!!

Jah’Nyah Spencer is an international artist bridging the gaps of community through illustration, muralism, & youth mentorship. While Spencer’s artstyle ranges from β€œeccentric realism” to Japanese inspired cartoons, her work is deeply expressive, commanding, and confrontational. To Spencer, her artwork is her way of articulating her perspective, as well as navigating trauma, life lessons, and self acceptance. Spencer’s murals are located across the Greater Boston Area, along with her work being shown in solo & group exhibitions in MA and Japan. In her most recent show β€œTwin”, alongside Michael Aghahowa, showcased at Galleries Of Lynn Arts, Spencer displayed her two art styles, and showcased pieces that explored themes of identity, immigration, racism, and childhood trauma.
