Project Restore Us Project Restore Us helps support restaurants and local families. Volunteer with us! Pledge funds or help deliver groceries safely to reduce COVID-19 exposure.

Restaurants obtain groceries, and we pay their workers to pack groceries safely and efficiently. 265+ tons of culturally-sensitive groceries delivered to 8,650+ households, so far. Our chefs design grocery selections to be nutritious, long-lasting, and culturally appropriate. Families get to cook food how they want.

After canceling the last market day due to extreme cold, we're thrilled to see a relatively warm and sunny forecast ahead for this Saturday!

Project Restore Us' winter sales Saturdays at Boston Housing Authority's Gallivan site are more popular than ever!

This Saturday, we're restocking much-requested jasmine rice and popular beans, but we need to fill 5 volunteer shifts to help us get those products to our eager customers.

We've sold out of grains and beans nearly every Saturday at the Mattapan Farmers market this summer! But in order to keep bringing these low-cost good staples to our neighbors, we still need your help!

If you have a vehicle, you can volunteer to transport the goods from our storage facility in Alewife to the market. Or volunteer to staff the table at the market and track sales.

Just a 2-hour time commitment Saturday morning is all it takes to ensure we can continue providing these high-demand staple foods throughout this fall.

We’re able to sell pantry staples at a significant discount thanks to our many donors, but in order to distribute these donations, we need your help!

PRU is bringing back staple pantry goods to the summer farmers markets this year!

We're seeking volunteers to help bring culturally relevant pantry goods (rice and beans) to markets at Mattapan and Codman Sq. Volunteers can choose between pickup/dropoff of goods from Alewife to the markets (must have a car) OR to sit and sell at the farmer's market (some Spanish speaking is not required, but greatly appreciated!)

We have an upcoming delivery on Monday, May 16th from Mei Mei Restaurant to 100 households with Project RIGHT, Inc.!

With inflation, the margin for restaurants has reduced considerably, and in general, restaurants are in a very different place from earlier in the pandemic. Restaurants today are really just trying to survive as restaurants and do not have much bandwidth for home deliveries.

If you would like to join the effort in providing essential groceries to your neighbors and help support your local businesses, please visit the link in our bio! This will be a great opportunity to serve Dorchester families during continued challenging times and to reinvigorate our volunteer base.
