VanGiesen, KRV Veterans Relief provides support to PA ARNG service members and their families. WHO WE ARE:
KRV Veterans Relief is a Veteran-owned nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring the memory of our brother-in-arms and dear friend SSG Kenneth Vangiesen. “Kenny” as he was known to who knew him, was KIA in Afghanistan on 18 July 2011. SSG Vangiesen served with many of us in the Pennsylvani

a Army National Guard, as well as a mechanic at Field Maintenance Shop #5 in Cambridge Springs. Our organization is based on providing support to past and present Pennsylvania Army National Guard Soldiers and their Families through numerous facets. Our founding members are experienced in the hardships Soldiers and their Families endure not only while performing Military duty but also juggling a Civilian life and are eager to serve them.

Thank you to everyone that supported the Kenny VanGiesen Memorial Golf Tournament! Sponsors, golfers, volunteers, Beechwood Golf Club and anyone that helped to "spread the word". The event was a success! We are proud to announce we will be able to offer 6x $1000 scholarships for the 2027-2028 school year! 15 years. 15 long years of missing you. They never get easier, and you are never forgotten, Kenny. Our Brother was taken from us by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan while serving the country and citizens he loved on this day in 2011. Kenny was a great Leader, Friend, Soldier, and Person.
We are honored to continue your service by giving back and supporting others in your memory, and hope that you are proud of our efforts.
We love you.
