KRV Veterans Relief is a Veteran-owned nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring the memory of our brother-in-arms and dear friend SSG Kenneth Vangiesen. “Kenny” as he was known to who knew him, was KIA in Afghanistan on 18 July 2011. SSG Vangiesen served with many of us in the Pennsylvani
a Army National Guard, as well as a mechanic at Field Maintenance Shop #5 in Cambridge Springs. Our organization is based on providing support to past and present Pennsylvania Army National Guard Soldiers and their Families through numerous facets. Our founding members are experienced in the hardships Soldiers and their Families endure not only while performing Military duty but also juggling a Civilian life and are eager to serve them.
