May the 4th Be With You!
The Force was strong at Cambridge Springs Elementary this morning! Our Blue Devils had a blast finding hidden Star Wars characters and answering trivia questions from across the galaxy. It was a fun-filled way to celebrate Star Wars Day together! We also had a special Blue Devil guest who revisited our classroom, hall, cafeteria and recess expectations with students. Keep using the Force for good… and remember - Be Proud. Be BLUE!

After wrapping up their PSSA assessments, our 3rd–6th grade Blue Devils hit the “greens” for some well-earned putt putt fun!
These students showed what it truly means to Be Proud, Be BLUE—being Brave when challenges got tough, showing Leadership by staying focused, demonstrating Understanding through some state DRC technology glitches, and striving for Excellence every step of the way. 💙
Today was a chance to celebrate their hard work, positive attitudes, and perseverance… one putt at a time! ⛳️
We’re so proud of our Blue Devils for swinging big and always aiming for their personal best! 💙

Our 6th grade Blue Devils had an incredible day stepping into the world of commerce at JA BizTown!
Through this hands-on experience, students became bankers, business owners, employees, and even voters. The field trip brings classroom learning to life in a simulated community. From managing money and running businesses to understanding the roles of citizens, workers, and consumers, our students truly connected their learning to the real world.
A heartfelt thank you to the PENNCREST School Board for continuing to financially support this meaningful opportunity for our students. Experiences like this make a lasting impact!
Shout out to Mrs. Hornberger, Mrs. Bates, Mrs. Davenport, and Mr. Burick for preparing our students through the BizTown curriculum and for their flexibility in scheduling and rescheduling around this year’s weather challenges.
We are proud of the way our Blue Devils demonstrated teamwork, responsibility, and strong “Be Proud Be BLUE” values throughout the day.

GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR STUDENTS AND PARENTS GRADES 4-6
• Students and their adult transportation (parents/guardians) are encouraged to visit
THREE of the four leading manufacturers and Crawford Tech.
• Passports will be provided at your first shop tour.
• Students are to bring the passport to each shop listed on the day of the event,
and their passport will be stamped upon completing each tour.
• Completed passports are to be checked in at lunch on the day of the event and their name will be entered for the prize drawings!
• Students MUST sign up to receive lunch & chance at prizes.

• April 25, 2026 from 9am-12:15pm for shop tours at Acutec Precision Aerospace,
C&J Industries, Chipsco Inc. and Phoenix Laser Solutions.

🏀 Who’s ready for March Madness at school? 🏀 Huge thanks to 6th graders Maddison and Cheyenne for leading our Friday PBIS Blue Slip celebration this morning! Each Friday at CSES classroom teachers draw one student’s Blue Slip. During the month of March that student joins in some fun basketball mayhem. Dribble it, pass it, we want a basket! … or miss and still walk away with a treat for showing they are Brave, demonstrating Leadership, showing Understanding, or working toward their Personal Excellence. Loved seeing our STEM Club in action after school today. Our 3rd–4th graders were fully focused during the after-school planning session following their first challenge. Such great teamwork and creativity! Huge thanks to Mrs. Triola and Mrs. Blakeslee for creating this opportunity, and Mrs. Leandro for subbing this evening. Thanks to all the families for re-arranging schedules to ensure students could participate.

Kindergarten Registration Invitation 🏫

Attention Parents of Incoming Kindergarteners

If your child will be 5 years old on or before June 30th, we invite you to our Kindergarten Registration Transition Night. Join us on March 18th at 6:00PM at Cambridge Springs Elementary School. Incoming kindergarten students will have the opportunity to oarticipate in activities with their teachers and meet classmate friends.

This evening is designed to help families prepare for the exciting journey of starting kindergarten. We'll provide essential information and registration materials to ensure a smooth transition for your child.
