ICARE of the Eastern Sierra

ICARE of the Eastern Sierra ICARE of the Eastern Sierra is a non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to helping pets since 1997. Last year, 2012, that number dropped to just 50.

We provide funding for spaying/neutering dogs and cats in Inyo and Mono Counties (over 16,300 s/n’s to date) at a cost of nearly $800,000. 😃 Our spay/neuter outreach has reduced euthanasias at the Inyo County Animal Shelter in Big Pine, California by 95%! The County euthanized 1,800 Shelter dogs and cats in 1996. One is still too many, but we are on the right track.
