Meet George Scribner. Born and raised in Panama City, Panama, George has been an animator for more than 35 years with the Walt Disney Company.

Now, as a painter he finds success is not about each painting, but about “the journey, the multitude of paintings done over time on this unexpected road to better myself as an artist.”

It’s The Journey, his upcoming show at Cambria Center for the Arts, will take gallery visitors along that road through his color-rich oil paintings.

Show runs July 30-August 30
Artist reception is July 5, 4:30 -6 p.m.

Meet Bill White, one of the featured artists in "Working With Wood."

Woodworking was part of Bill’s life for as long as he could remember. Growing up in Ontario, Canada, he learned the craft in his father's woodworking shop and went on to spend decades creating custom staircases throughout Canada and California. In his later years, Bill devoted more of his time to creating one-of-a-kind works of art, guided by a deep respect for the wood and the stories revealed in its grain.

We are especially honored to include Bill's work in this exhibit and remember his lifelong dedication to the craft.

See Bill's work on view June 2 to 28.

Reception open to all. Come celebrate the exhibit and discover the creativity and craftsmanship of "Working With Wood" Saturday, June 6, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Meet Jim Rogers, one of the featured artists in "Working With Wood."

Woodworking runs in Jim Rogers' family. Inspired by his father and grandfather, he has spent years creating handcrafted pieces that reflect both skill and creativity. For Jim, the joy comes from exploring new ideas, working with wood, and sharing his creations with others.

See Jim's work on view June 2 to 28.
