💙🦂 Celebrating a Cam High Legend! 🦂💙
Please join us in congratulating our beloved Linda Valdez, aka LV to those who know her, on her induction into the Ventura County Educators’ Hall of Fame! 🎉👏🙏
For 45 years, LV has dedicated her heart to educating, mentoring, encouraging & inspiring generations of students & teachers. A true pillar of our ACHS community having worked here from 1967-2002 (& then continuing on to our district), her impact extends far beyond the classroom & continues to be felt by so many.
Affectionately known as Cam High’s “Ambassador,” LV has always embodied what it means to lead with kindness, compassion & a genuine love for others. She has also been a longtime PTSA champion, a cherished presence in our group, generously sharing her time, wisdom & unwavering support to our students, families & school community. We are so grateful for all that she continues to bring to our PTSA family!
Making the celebration even more special, LV was introduced by her former student, Jeff Hahn, who continues to be a familiar voice in our Scorpion community as the announcer at Cam High football games. Christina Stevenson, another former student who later became a teacher at Cam High herself, completed the induction ceremony & presented LV with a special ring commemorating this incredible honor.
What a beautiful full-circle moment to have two former students play such meaningful roles in celebrating a teacher who helped shape their lives!
It was such a joy to honor & celebrate LV this past weekend as she received this well-deserved recognition!
Thank you, LV, for pouring your heart into our students, our teachers & our community. Your legacy is truly remarkable! WE LOVE YOU!!!! 💙💙💙
If you are LV’s friend, colleague, or former student, kindly share some of your memories with us!
