Last night's Toastmasters meeting was themed "A Day on the Farm", with the word of the day being "Tempting". The meeting was full of fun and engaging activities, including Table Topics about farm life, such as naming a farm and resisting tempting treats. Prepared speeches explored leadership lessons and inspiring experiences. The evening wrapped up with awards for best speaker, evaluator, and table topics winner. It was a bountiful and memorable meeting, with everyone contributing to a farm-tastic atmosphere.

Camarillo Evening Toastmasters

Theme: Ghosts
WOD: Phantasm

Our Toastmasters meeting, themed around Ghosts with the word of the day Phantasm, was hauntingly engaging! The theme brought out some fascinating, and even spine-chilling, stories as speakers explored the spectral side of their imagination. From sharing personal ghostly encounters to weaving phantasmal tales, everyone embraced the theme with enthusiasm. The word of the day, Phantasm, added a touch of the eerie to our language, making for some creative uses in table topics and speeches alike. The meeting not only stirred up a playful sense of mystery but also enjoyed seeing some members showing up with their Halloween costumes and we got to vote for the best costume!!!

We had an amazing time at our Toastmasters Open House event! 🎉 Our club welcomed guests from all walks of life, sharing the power of communication and leadership development. Division B WCPS* Watch Party – Was a GREAT Success
WOW!!! What an outstanding experience it was for members of Division B to gather together and enjoy a WCPS* Watch Party (*World Championship of Public Speaking).
There was networking, camaraderie, fellowship and FOOD.
OH… yeah… there was also a WCPS contest that took place. We all really had a great time!
I feel so sad that some of you couldn’t join us because you definitely missed a fabulous time.????????????
