September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month.

For young people navigating difficult moments, having someone to turn to can make all the difference. Access to caring support and resources can help young people find their way through a crisis and see hope for what comes next.

At Casa Pacifica, we’re committed to helping young people build the skills, connections and support they need to move forward. Everyone deserves to know they are not alone and that a path forward is possible.

If you or someone you know is struggling, support is available:

📞 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline: Call or text 988 for free, confidential, 24/7 crisis support.

💬 YouthLine: Young people up to age 24 can call 877-968-8491 or text “teen2teen” to 839863 to connect with peer support.

You are not alone. 💙

We’re excited to unveil a new pollinator garden, created in partnership with Native Monarchs!

Designed to provide food and habitat for butterflies, bees, hummingbirds and other pollinators, the garden is also creating a hands-on learning experience for our youth.

As kids plant, tend and explore, they’re discovering the connections all around them: pollinators depend on plants, plants depend on pollinators, and a healthy ecosystem depends on many parts working together.

And there’s a lesson in that for all of us. Everything is connected.

We’re so grateful to Native Monarchs for helping us create a space where kids can connect with nature, and to Yardi, our Casa Pacifica Angels, and the Camarillo Rotary Foundation for their generous financial support. Your generosity is helping this special garden grow.

We couldn’t be prouder to celebrate Michelle Kelly, our Ventura County Director of Outpatient Services, on being named to Pacific Coast Business Times’ 40 Under 40 list!

For 15 years, Michelle has poured her heart into Casa Pacifica and the young people and families we serve. She began her journey with us as a Youth Development Specialist and went on to serve as a Cottage Supervisor and Assistant Program Manager for our Therapeutic Behavioral Services program. She was instrumental in helping to launch the Moving Forward Together program before stepping into her current leadership role.

Through every chapter, she’s brought compassion, expertise and commitment to youth and families who struggle with their mental health. We’ve been incredibly fortunate to have Michelle on our team for the past 15 years, and even more fortunate to witness all that she continues to bring to Casa Pacifica and our community.

Congratulations, Michelle! Your recognition is so well deserved. 💙

Travis’s smile can brighten anyone’s day. Behind it is a story of resilience and healing.

After facing big changes at a young age, Travis struggled to understand and express his emotions. Through Casa Pacifica’s Therapeutic Behavioral Services program, he learned to find his voice, communicate his needs and build stronger connections with his family.

Today, his smile reflects just how far he’s come. 💙
