Amazing day visiting the Santa Rosa Island Research Station with Foundation board members, President’s Scholars, campus recreation and our interim President Susan Andrzejewski. Calm seas, a megapod of dolphins, a very friendly humpback whale, gray whales and more.

Coming up! Visit the Santa Rosa Island Research Station on March 20. A limited number of seats are open to retirees and guests.
If you have never visited CSUCI's Santa Rosa Island Research Station (or if you have and want to go again), the next opportunity is March 20. This is an all-day trip to one of the less visited locations in the Channel Islands. As always there is the chance to see a range of marine life (whales and dolphins included) during the trip. The return trip visits Painted Cave (fourth largest sea cave in the world). There are a limited number of seats available for this trip. If you wish to participate, make your booking at https://commerce.cashnet.com/CSUCIADV. Your ticket includes transportation on Island Packers and supports the Research Station. We will visit the Research Station and explore the historic ranch district of the island. Lunch is not included, but for those who register, I will have information about meal options.
