Anyone that wants to ride with us for the labor day parade, come on out tomorrow morning. We have a lot of candy to throw out. Please show up around 8 and wear your union shirts if you have them. Parade starts at 930 on Broadway St downtown Paducah. See you there!!!

The West Kentucky Labor Day Committee welcomes everyone to come out to the parade and celebration in this family friendly public event.

The West Kentucky Labor Day Committee sponsors The 48th Annual West Kentucky Labor Day Parade.

The parade will be held on Broadway Street at 9:30 am and the celebration will be at Carson Park after the parade approx 11 am to approx 3 pm. Both locations are in Paducah.

Our West Kentucky Labor Day Committee will be sponsoring the parade, music and several of the celebration activities.

Sprinkles w/Sprinkle The Donut Game & The Sprinkles Store:
Sprinkles is a character w/a used items game & store.
The game is for ALL ages. The player picks an item from Sprinkles designated game items after game play. Sprinkles fun fact: for $1.00 player plays game and gets an item. Most Sprinkles items are stuffed animals.

Other characters are welcome to the event! Set up a booth for free with no registration.

Flea Market: NO fee! NO registration!
Welcome vendors of yard sale items, flea market items, crafts, charities and clubs, fundraisers, and family friendly activities. Set up your booth for FREE in our flea market area.

All vendors may begin setting up after 7 am, before 11 am. The celebration begins after the parade at 11 am and ends 3pm ish. You may begin sharing your info and selling your goods after setting up. Please keep in mind there may not be many people at the park until after the parade. Please be respectful of other vendors by only sharing and selling from within your booth.

Who am I?

I am the co-creator, w/my husband (a retired union pipefitter with Local Union 184) of the West Kentucky Labor Day Parade page, by permission of the West Kentucky Labor Day Committee. As well as the page and event page admin, creating the posts, putting together the multi-images/collages, etc Our Labor Day Coordinator David Yates and My husband Rick Scooby Murt, let me know the information to put on the parade page.

I "borrow" the bands and vendors photos from their pages. I get other images from free downloads. Non-professional photographer photo credits: myself, my husband, our son, and others(posted/sent on/to the page). Photos in & beside the calendar photo credits to my son River Travis Murt.
