Skiing on May 1st? Our head groomer is making it a reality! Come and enjoy May Day Skiing at Swedetown!

Groomer report from Nordic Pulse:

Hello again all! Still grooming! Tonight I just dragged the skate deck and added in Mama Bear and the rest of Greenstone to the trails groomed the last few nights; Freshly groomed are Tiger, Valley, Cedar, Birch, Ed's, Greenstone, and Mama Bear. As usual; Expect late season Spring conditions and keep a look out for bare and thin spots. The start of Valley and start of Mama Bear both look MUCH worse than the rest of the trails - if you walk past the bare spots, the rest of the trail is in great shape. Intact but not freshly set tracks are on Valley, Ed's, Cedar, and a section of Greenstone up to Powderhouse. Enjoy your ski everyone!

The Swedetown Trails will be closed to skiing and ski testing starting the morning of Friday, March 6, through 7:00 am Saturday, March 7. This will allow us to ensure quality groomed trails for the Great Bear Chase on March 7.

The current weather forecast shows a good chance of rain Friday afternoon and evening. This could mean grooming challenges and damage to the course by skiers while it is warm and wet. We want to groom and preserve such that everyone has a great experience on Saturday.
