Real People Media was incorporated as a nonprofit in 2006 and designated as a 501c3 nonprofit in 2010. Our mission is to help people share their stories through literary, visual, performing and media arts. We believe in giving everyone a voice and especially look to assist the under represented in our communities. We operate the Keweenaw Storytelling Center in downtown Calumet, Michigan and produce The Red Jacket Jamboree, old-time radio variety show.

Big news!! Come join the fun!

The show will run 2 weekends at the Historic Calumet Theatre. The dates are October 15th, 16th and 17th and October 23rd, 24th and 25th.

Ages 12 and up are welcome to audition! We hope to see you there! 🎭
