Our Christians in Action group made 11 tie blankets tonight as we continue preparing for our next service trip. ❤️

For the summer months, our goal is to meet an hour before each meeting to complete a service project and continue finding ways to help others in our community and beyond. We are thankful for everyone who gives their time and talents to make these projects possible!

Our Christians in Action group will be taking a mission trip to Ensenada, Mexico from July 30 – August 7, and we are asking for your prayers and support!

During our trip, we will be:
• Doing home visits and delivering food baskets
• Helping with painting and construction projects
• Running a Vacation Bible School
• Participating in homeless outreach ministry

This year, we are seeking monetary donations to help purchase supplies for the trip. We plan to buy many of the needed items once we arrive in Mexico, which is why we are asking for financial support instead of physical item donations.

If you are willing to donate, please give your donation to Bridget Adam (checks can be made payable to “CLC Luther League”), mail your donation to CLC Luther League PO Box 398 Calmar, IA 52132, or place your donation in an envelope in the collection plate labeled “Mission Trip.”

Tonight our Christians in Action group attended the Just Jesus Student Revival Night at Redemption Acres near Reinbeck, Iowa. We were blessed with an evening of worship through music, powerful testimonies, and prayer. The Holy Spirit was truly present throughout the night. Jennifer Martin shared a powerful message that touched many hearts. Thankful for this opportunity to grow in faith and fellowship together. ❤️

Last night, Caylie, Jenna and advisor Bridget had the honor of helping Pastor D serve the elegant 6-course meal that was auctioned off last month at our Talent and Skills Auction. It was a wonderful evening filled with great food, fellowship, laughter and many special memories.

Thank you to everyone who supported the auction and helped make events like this possible. We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve others and spend time together as a group. ❤️
