Pier450 Restaurant, Boutique Motel & Shop is looking for volunteers this Saturday morning (June 13th) to help with some gardening on the property! If you haven't made it down to Pier450 yet, this is a great opportunity to get involved in the community and see the incredible waterfront along the Potomac River / Chesapeake Bay. 👒🌅

OK, I’m not gonna sugarcoat this. I confess I’ve been a little busy and this garden is overrun with weeds. Anyone interested in a little impromptu volunteer gardening party next Saturday morning, June 13? Say 8:00 or 9:00 am (it’s not supposed to be crazy hot, but this will get us in the cooler hours)?

As ever, I will feed you. And offer you my undying love and devotion. ❤️👩‍🌾😏

Celebrate the National Hot Rod Association's (NHRA) debut at Maryland International Raceway with a FREE meet and greet with NHRA-qualified drivers! Enjoy face-to-face time with your favorite drivers, snap photos, request autographs, and build excitement before the race this weekend.

Drivers in attendance include Southern Maryland native Kelly Clontz
Tony Stewart (former NASCAR champion, now racing NHRA), Shawn Landgon, J.R. Todd, Dallas Glenn, Richard Gladson and many more.

Along with meeting NHRA standouts and getting autographs, the festive atmosphere and kickoff to the inaugural NHRA weekend will include junior dragsters, live music, food and drink vendors, and a classic car show.
