Namaste everyone and welcome to another Ashram blog post update. We have been chipping away on the smauses, and settling into our fall push, as well as welcoming a few visitors.

Work has continued on Fridays and Saturdays on the smauses, as those of us who are teachers have gone back to work and our volunteer season is closed. Nowadays, Dhriti works on the same ashram schedule that we keep during the summer: 3 days on, one day off, 6 hours per day. Sama is working full time as Ashram President, and spends 3 days per week on hands-on physical ashram development, and 3 days per week on presidential duties. Besides Jnanda, everyone else works off-ashram Monday-Friday. Right now, we have 10 permanent residents: Jnanda, Saucha, Gudu, Adhii, Jitvara, Bhati, Sama, Vishada, Upekkha, and Dhriti. Everyone works a full day every Saturday on the Smauses, and some folks put in an additional Friday as well most weeks. In addition, we are in the midst of our Super Weekend right now. We have worked Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and will be working Monday tomorrow.

We have put a roof on the Laundry Facility, and continued to plaster the smauses, install all of the windows in both smauses and added window trim in preparation for siding. We installed most of the deck boards, and installed most of the interior and exterior hurricane hangers. This weekend, we have begun installing siding, and continued electrical preparation. We are still in reach of our goal of having the Feminine Ray Smaus liveable by the end of October.

Our budget is tight for these smauses. We have been able to accomplish a lot due to our hard work and devotion. Donations will enable us to hire contractors for some of this work, and free us up to develop other areas of the Ashram, like our farming and silvopasture. Please consider donating to HYA.

The bulk of our harvesting has taken place this month! We have eaten hundreds of asian pears, as well as made some into jam. We have harvested lots of kale, chard, tomatoes, bell peppers, and acorn squash as well. We will be harvesting apples ASAP. We are very appreciative to Ember, who has been cooking up all of these ashram-grown items.

We celebrated Gudu’s birthday on the 10th with a fun barbecue, with bratwursts, a pork roast, grilled chicken, and corn. We had a bonfire as well. It was lots of fun.

Finally, we have had visits from Aabhaasvara, Anusha, and Namita this month. We were very happy to see them.

Duty and Freedom

Freedom lays in one doing their Divine Duty which first and foremost is soul evolution, whittling the ego, stewardship and dominion-ship of the lower bodies, and one’s environment so that the true being we are, is in the forefront. Then duty is done with Divine Love as a motivator.

As one lives their life with Divine Love as a motivator, with duty as one of the highest facets of Divine Love; one feels free more from the clutches of the hindrances of the egoic survival modes that has one bound. Building on that freedom of Divine Love and Duty is the quintessential essence of momentum building.

Only A Sliver of Ego Is Needed

One only needs a sliver of ego to keep their lower bodies here. The world is in the shape it is in because too many people have thick egos. Whether they know it or not they are loving their ego and egoic perceptions more than the Divine.

Divine Love, Duty, Momentum Building to break the shackles of the three prongs of judgment is imperative. If one allows the judgment of self, judgment of others, and allows themselves to be affected by the judgment of others one is not truly liberated or free.
Please know a minute sliver of these things is unavoidable as one need’s at least a sliver of ego to keep the lower bodies here. This also lets one know that because the ego is whittled to a sliver their processing time to deal with egoic matters is greatly sped up.

This is Jnana Introspection.
Real growth is thinking what you are thinking about instead of just thinking.

I am thinking about my thoughts, words and actions as they pertain to life’s myriad situations. Am I coming from a place of Divine Love while doing my Duty as a Chela on the path of Soul Evolution? Or am I just doing things to do things which negate the Divine Bhakti-Karma Yoga blend of doing all things of, by, and for the Divine, while releasing the outcome to the Divine. One does this by thinking about what they’re thinking about and making sure it is from a place of Divine Love.

Note: Be wary of the insidiousness of the ego because one can end up obsessing over their thought process and miss the Divine Introspection of The Divine Energy Flow of God Consciousness. If this occurs one is not in a Divine Loving Centered Pragmatic Demeaner.

ANNOUNCING: HYA 2026 FALL PUSH :)

A note from our president:

Heaven Hi Divine Family!!

We are super excited to announce HYA’s Fall Push! Many of you have been seeing our updates on the construction progress over the course of the spring and summer, however if you have not seen them since our last annual report, here is a small update.

In 2026, we have been working hard to complete 3 major construction projects to help build out our village. We have made significant progress on two small houses (smauses) that will comfortably house 3 people per smaus year round (that’s housing for 6 more people during the winter!). We have also begun construction on a laundry and shower facility so that we can finally do laundry on the property rather than driving to town. We have included a few photos of the current progress and it is changing every week!

With our fall push this year we are requesting, from our community, a bit of extra funding so that we can afford to finish one smaus and the laundry/shower facility before the winter sets in. To do this we need the funding to buy our final round of materials (dry wall, exterior doors, flooring, and paint) and the rest will go to hire a few days of labor to supplement our workforce. The labor we hire will be at a significant discount thanks to our building lead Saucha and his company, Natural Resource Construction.

Please know that we are doing everything we can on the ground to get these projects accomplished. Everyone is volunteering as much time as possible outside of their normal work hours to get to the finish line.

MALA-10-Creation and Life:
The gift of Life is Creation. Creation is the gift of Life. To further Creation we must further our Life, by doing so we further ourselves, thus growing into our dominion-ship or mastery on this plain of existence. We then, further the Creator not only in ourselves but also through our Divine Creative actions whereby we manifest the substance of Love and all the facets of Love.

MALA-9-Religion:
All religions are part of the whole, which is love; therefore, the only religion that teaches the whole truth is the religion of Love. Fundamentalists and extremists exist in all religious beliefs, saying, "Ours is the only way. It says so here," while pointing to a text. People can pick and choose and believe what they want - it is a free will zone - but ask yourself this, "Does what they say or do edify Love and encompass Wholeness, Holiness, and the Oneness of all Creation?" Or does it edify ego and control?
