Callahan Lions Club Callahan Lions Club is made up of members dedicated to helping in the community and changing lives. Our motto is ,"We Serve. and we do.

Callahan Lions Club is made up of members dedicated to helping in the community and changing lives. We provide free eye exams, free glasses and free hearing aids to people that qualify. We volunteer in the community when we find a need. Our Motto is “We Serve” and we do. Nothing is better then seeing the smiles on the faces of those we help or watching live

s change because that person can see or hear again. Our members are “PROUD TO BE LIONS.” Come to a meeting and visit with us. You will be welcomed by a group of people that think just like you. Some of our Community Projects:
Free exam,eyeglasses and hearing aids for qualified
Students -Free glasses and hearing aids for qualified applicants
Volunteer with Barnabus Center-(Qualifying Applicants, packing and handing out food)
Planning and Volunteering for Military Appreciation Events
Volunteer with with AMVETS
Volunteers at Teachers Appreciation Breakfast
Relay for Life
Planed Community Events
Members of the Greater Nassau County Chamber of Commerce
Westside Historical Society
Soup Train- donating ingredients for soup
Volunteer with Westside Optimist Club
Back to school projects
Christmas for children
Adopting a family for Christmas

So I am posting Max AGAIN! Please help me find a good home for him. Max is about 2.5 years old. I have had him for about 1.5 years now. I have had him nuetered, he is up to date on all his shots, he is up to date on his heartworm meds. Max has graduated from Obedience School and is very respectful of his things. I brought Max in as a stray. This boy is such a sweet heart. Before you go to a rescue and get a dog you know nothing about, please consider Max. He needs his forever home.
Note: Max will not do well with Cats. Please PM me for more information.

The Callahan Lions Club says thank you to everyone that participated in our 2018 Turkey Shoots. One hundred percent of your donations will go to help change lives for the better in our communities. We focus on free eyeglasses and hearing aids for those whose qualify and volunteering in the community to help where we see a need. Your donations will be life changing for those that cannot see to drive, work, and see the blackboard at school. WE help those that cannot hear blocking their communication with others. Our volunteers hand out food to the hungry, adopt a family for Christmas, volunteer at the Teachers Appreciation Breakfast, donate to the” Soup Kitchen” ,work with other originations where needed and so much more. We have guest speakers at our meetings who teach us about our communities. Your donations help us follow our motto,” Feel Good About Yourself,” join a Lions Club today. We hope you had fun and ,”Feel Good About Yourself,” for donating to the 2018 Callahan Lions Club Turkey Shoot. Our 2018 Turkey Shoots are now over for the year but will be back in the Spring of 2019. We hope to see you then.
