the most blessed day in my life.

we had a great blessed day, by the visit of SYNOD OF BISHOPS on July 2nd 2014 and I would loe to share this great event with all of you.His Eminence Metropolite Hilarion of the Eastern and Ameican and New York church.FIRST HIRARCH of the RUSSIAN Church abroad came by bus together with our own Arch Bishop Kyrill of S.F.
accompanied by His emincence Mark, Arch Bishop of Germany and ritain, Eminince Bishop of Caracas and All south America, and many other eminences. as well as Archpriest Paul of Sacramento. They ALL came to taste the wonderful RUSSIAN ORTHODOX CHALICE WINE, which is being produce by our own Fr. akim Provatakis and the Napa Valley winemaker Mark HEROLD..Fr. akim ahs two kinds produced, first one a somewhat sweet wine, at $ 55.- per bottle. made from MALBEC grapes from our area and the second one at $ 20.-- per bottle. both of them can be tasted and bought ay our church hall here in Calistoga. This wine was found andmade by emperor Peter the Great over three centuries ago.
this was the HIGHLIGHT OF MY LIFE , being blessed by 7 bishops and two priests.and so it was for Fr. Akim.. THIS should help me to get my health back again, so I can continue to work for and help my so VERY LOVELY CHURCH.
