Today’s Pumpkin Decorating Contest was met with some very creative participation!!!! Thanks to Jan, even the voting was innovative!!! Dime for 1st place, Nickel for 2nd, and a Penny for 3rd! Who won the $10 grand prize?
Aiko with her bloody sickle bearing glove and his viscous bloody teeth! Helen received 2nd place with her dazzle eyed grinning green striped pumpkin fall display. Deedee didn’t go with scary or adorable, she came in 3rd with a garden theme of a succulent laden pumpkin! Other entries were evil eyed, bloody, clever and owlish!!!! After a festive potluck, 2 flats of colorful pony packs, donated by Cherry Valley Nursery, were raffled off. This was the first of our holiday celebrations.
