Today we welcomed Stacy Bodow, the Outreach and Engagement Manager of Global Links, a Pittsburgh based non profit. Their motto is Sharing Surplus. Saving Lives. This company's vision of sharing medical surplus fully aligns with at least 4 of the 7 Avenues of Service in Rotary International : Fighting disease; Providing clean water, sanitation and hygiene; Improving maternal and child health; Protecting the environment. Last year they redirected 250 tons of usable medical equipment and supplies from landfills to life changing help. You can learn more at globallinks.org.
