Holly Hill was privileged to participate in the Bags of Hope event with the Kentucky General Assembly yesterday.

Representatives from across our Commonwealth of Kentucky took time out of their day to come together for this special community effort, assembling care and support kits for children in Kentucky’s foster care system. These small acts of care make an incredible difference for young people navigating transition and uncertainty.

The event was an initiative of The Lucky Ones Foundation, founded by current Miss Kentucky Ariana Rodriguez, whose leadership and commitment to children and families continues to inspire collaboration across the state.

Our CEO, James Sherry, along with other Kentucky Children’s Alliance board members, was excited to participate and represent Holly Hill in this important work.

Thank you to all the legislators Samara Heavrin, Mike Clines, State Representative - District 68, Shelley Funke Frommeyer, partners, and volunteers who showed up to support Kentucky’s children.

Create and manage treatment plans
Collaborate with families & community partners
Support crisis intervention and discharge planning

Requirements:
Master’s in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
2+ years’ experience with children/families
KY license: LPCA, LPCC, LCSW, CSW, or LMFT
Strong communication & leadership skills

One week later, and our kids are still talking about Halloween at Holly Hill! Thanks to our amazing volunteers from Ethicon Johnson & Johnson, our hallway was transformed into a spooky, joy-filled adventure that brought so many smiles to our youth. 🎃
