I didn't even realize it was December until just the other day.

Mother of the Year award here...

We are struggling with funds and dog feed along with our own groceries is what we get with what little we have.

We got thru a bag a day of hard food ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

I'm scared for our little rescue.
We can't keep this up as hard as we try. My health makes it hard to even make these posts and every day is another new battle for our new little family.

If you can help restock our feed room it would be a lot of weight of our shoulders

I've ordered as much as our rescue account has allowed- about a day and a half, and haven't been able to afford much at all- currently breaking them in half ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Under Kern County Ordinance 7.08.040, itโ€™s illegal to own, operate, or maintain a commercial animal facility without a proper permit.

So what exactly counts as a Commercial Animal Facility?
According to Ordinance 7.08.015(K), itโ€™s any premises where a person engages in the business of buying, selling, or breeding more than one (1) litter of dogs or cats per year.

๐Ÿ‘‰ In other words:
If youโ€™re breeding or selling dogs or cats in Kern County without a valid Commercial Animal Facility Permit (CAFP), youโ€™re breaking the law.

๐Ÿพ Kern County Animal Services has an Animal Control Officer dedicated to enforcing these regulations.
