🥕 Healthy snacking just got easier at the Cal City Farmers Market!

As parents, we know it can be hard to get kids excited about fruits and vegetables. We've found that fresh, local produce simply tastes better—and often has higher nutritional value because it hasn't traveled hundreds of miles to get to your plate.

Healthy snacking can be simple, too! Today we cut up a few fresh veggies, sprinkled on a little sea salt and paprika, and the kids ate them up within seconds. 😊

Bring the kids to the market, let them meet the farmers, learn where their food comes from, and pick out something new to try. When children are part of the experience, they're often more excited to eat fresh, healthy foods.
