Recovery Gordon is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering peer support, recovery resources, mental health support, and certified addiction recovery support.

They also have three weekly meetings open to everyone. All pathways are welcome, there is no cost, and there is no judgment.

There’s no better feeling than watching people gain stability, make progress, and start believing in themselves again.

The work I’m doing through NWGA Independent Shared Living and the recovery community means a lot to me. Seeing people move forward reminds me why I stay committed to this purpose.

This is bigger than me. It’s about helping people build a better life, one step at a time.

🎉 COMMUNITY WIN! 🎉

Today, we just want to say THANK YOU to our community!

Not long ago, we reached out asking for help finding employment for two women who were working hard to rebuild their lives.

Because of the incredible support from this community, both women have now secured jobs within walking distance of our home!

A special thank you to Duke’s and The Rocket, along with everyone else who offered recommendations, shared our post, encouraged these women, or helped connect them with employment opportunities. Businesses willing to give people an opportunity truly make a difference, and we are grateful for your support.

This is what community looks like.

When neighbors, businesses, churches, organizations, and community members come together, lives can change. Stable housing is important, but employment, encouragement, and opportunity are what help people build lasting stability.

This is exactly why NWGA Independent Shared Living exists—to help remove barriers, build stability, and give people an opportunity to move forward, one step at a time.
