If all shelters cared as much as Walker County, there would be a lot less homeless animals needing homes. KUDOS to Walker County in supporting and educating about SPAY/NEUTER.
Good morning! We are closed today and have 14 animals going to the vet to be altered! 👏🏼
We will be talking a lot about spay and neuter on this page so get ready!
ALL shelters are full. Not just us. We are all running out of life saving options and everyone knows that spay/neuter is the best way to save lives! We are out of band-aids!
We do NOT want to euthanize healthy, adoptable pets simply because people aren’t spaying and neutering their pets. That’s unfair and our shelter team is not in the euthanasia business. It’s emotionally exhausting and we’d rather spend our time and resources, helping our community get their pets altered!
If you need help with spay/neuter, call us at 706-375-2100 and let’s get the job done! Do not hesitate to ask us for help with spay/neuter! We are here to support our community!
