Camp Serenity was a success! This year marked a special milestone as, for the first time, our interns and volunteers were able to participate alongside the girls who have been through our center. Together, they explored creativity through arts and crafts, practiced mindfulness through yoga.

We are grateful for every person who helped make this experience possible and proud of the strength, resilience, and hope that filled Camp Serenity

This is a rare opportunity to lead a Child Advocacy & Sexual Assault Center at a pivotal
moment of transformation.
We are seeking a strategic, systems-oriented leader who can stabilize operations,
strengthen multidisciplinary partnerships, and ensure full compliance with national and
state standards.

This role is ideal for a leader experienced in complex environments who is ready to
build a high-performing, accountable, and sustainable organization.
CAC/SAC or victim services leadership preferred
Strong background in compliance, MDT leadership or similar professional experience

Happy 1 Year Work Anniversary to one of our Client Advocates and Forensic Interviewers, Osiris Cardona!

As a bilingual client advocate, Osiris helps our victims and their families by providing support in English and Spanish, connecting them to resources available to them, and ensuring that our victims have a safe space. Osiris is also one of our forensic interviewers, who is able to conduct interviews that gather a child's statement about their disclosure in a neutral, non-leading, non-suggestive manner while also considering the child's emotional needs, developmental level, and safety. Please join us in welcoming our new Victim Services - Advocacy Intern, Zuri Cervantes! We are thrilled to have Zuri joining our team while she pursues her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in biology at Dalton State.

Zuri will be working closely with our interviewers to gain hands-on experience with the criminal justice process, forensic interviews, and the types of cases we serve as they move through the system. She will also assist with planning our monthly teen outreach group and our annual summer camp.

When asked what she is most excited about during her internship, Zuri shared that she is looking forward to being a safe person for the victims we serve, and hopefully help create change for the families that come through our center. She is excited for the growth opportunities and new people she will be meeting during her internship.

In her free time, Zuri likes to bake, cook, shop, and crafting. We are so excited to have her on our team. Welcome, Zuri!
