Another Chance Dog Rescue

Another Chance Dog Rescue Another Chance Dog Rescue is an all volunteer, all breed, 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue group in central Alabama. We do not have a facility.

All pets are fostered in homes in the Greater Birmingham Metro area and surrounding counties. Another Chance Dog Rescue is an all breed animal rescue group utilizing foster homes throughout the Greater Birmingham Metro area. Meet and greets are scheduled when we have an adoption in progress. We rescue strays and abandoned dogs/cats and shelter dogs. We provide weeks to months of fostering and medi

cal care before finding permanent homes. We are not a rehoming service for owner surrenders. Dogs are pack animals and look at their human family as their pack. If you have a dog outside, please consider making him/her a part of your family. Please reach out to us for information on crate-training your dog. We advocate spay/neuter to control the over-population of homeless animals in the south. We believe every pet owner should be responsible and spay & neuter their animals.

Help us make room for this busy cat season! They are fostered in Montevallo Alabama. We need Foster's, or we need Adoptions so our fosters have room for more kittens.

Lester and Carl were rescued from a shed. They are healthy and playful! If you are interested in saving lives and bringing a kitty into your home, these kittens will warm your heart!

If you want to use your vet, you can take your kitten now. We'd like an application from adopters. No fee for an approved application with a vet reference.

Or take your kitten now and bond with it. Keep the vet appointment when it's time and pay a small adoption fee to cover its vaccines and surgery. An application is needed.

Kittens should have a young feline companion or another kitten in the home. A pair of kittens will always have a playmate, a friend, and a snuggle buddy at nap time.

These kittens were saved to be indoor pets. They already have great litter box manners! They are too young for vaccines or neuter, but they have been dewormed. If you adopt one, they will have two vaccines in the weeks ahead.

Serious adopters should fill out the application online and we'll be in touch with you ASAP.

Sailor, tuxedo female, and her brother Skipper, orange with that white ruffle collar. These kittens are about three months old now, they weigh 3 1/2 pounds, they are playful, healthy, social, and they purr for you! They are spayed/neutered, rabies, FVRCP and Booster, microchip, multiple deworming, and they receive parasite prevention.

You won't go wrong with these two kittens!

Angel is a little better this week, but she still has two more weeks of recovery from a terrible case of Sarcoptic mange.
She was kept separated last week, but we couldn't keep that up, she's a puppy that needs people.

She's had multiple anti parasitic baths, lime sulfur dip, topical mange treatment, and frequently change her bedding. She's grown a little in the last ten days.

Angel has two large hernias that need to be repaired when she's spayed. Thanks to the people who donate and help make surgery possible.

This puppy is smart, and like a puppy, she needs lots of training and direction.

Angel is going to be a large dog, over 60 pounds, based on her size.

Keep your eye on her! She's going to need a forever home!

We rescued 3 more very young kittens while people were grilling and enjoying a holiday yesterday. They are tiny and will be with us for a couple of months for sure.

If you are local to Birmingham, or surrounding counties, they need homes. 2 males 1 female, going to be long hair.

If you have a veterinarian that you use for your animals, if you fill out an application and it's approved, you can pick the kitten for yourself and use your own Vet.

If you don't have a veterinarian, fill out the application, pay a small fee, get your kitten in two weeks when it's about six weeks old, and keep the vet appointments when they are scheduled. We will have a contract.

Please donate any amount for these babies. It all adds up. Good quality, kitten food, litter, enrichment, toys, their vaccines, and deworming and when they're big enough, their spay and neuter and microchip all come with a cost.

We depend on generous donors because we are not funded by any state, city, county or entity. We rely on fundraising and people who support or mission.

We are beyond grateful to Courtney, who reached out to foster!

Foster needed! We cannot get kittens adopted as fast as they show up!

Currently in Montevallo, they can go to foster in Shelby, Jefferson, Chilton or Tuscaloosa counties. 256-665-6104
Rescue provides everything you need for these kittens. They can eat wet food.

Or you rescue them, provide for their needs and fix them when they are 3 months old.
