Today, the Ascension Wisconsin Prehospital Medicine team and Hollie, the Stroke Coordinator at Ascension All Saints, recognized Caledonia Fire Department Med 12 for their exceptional response to a stroke call in November. Their quick thinking and decisive actions helped ensure the patient received timely, lifesaving care.

Med 12 responded quickly to transfer the patient to All Saints, where the patient was treated with a clot-busting medication. Then, the patient was transferred to Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s for a clot-removal procedure. Because of this incredible teamwork, the patient made a full recovery and returned home.

A heartfelt thank you to the Caledonia Fire Department for your partnership in rapid response and exceptional care. 👏 💙

Members of Local 2740 had the privilege of showing another family in the community some love during Christmas Time. Local 2740 has a Committee called Firefighters for Kids, which helps a family in the community during the holidays and provides that family with a Christmas. We are so grateful to be able to give back to members of our community!

Pete & Tiffany finished their shopping for this year for Caledonia Firefighters For Kids! This organization helps a family in need by providing them with a Christmas. The family will be at St 12 opening presents and having a pizza party with members of Local 2740 this week!

Caledonia Local 2740 collaborated with South Shore Firefighters Charities, Inc today and hosted our first joint pancake breakfast with Santa, to raise money for FF John Omelina. Thank you for all those that came out today to raise money for this cause.

Today we have members of Caledonia Local 2740 and South Shore Charities Members handing out flyers to raise money for a Firefighter Family in need from 2-9pm!!! Order some food and when you order let them know you want to donate your order proceeds to the fundraiser! Thanks, hope to see you all!
