Kelsey and Falynn got to spend their morning helping out at the Kuna Stampede Special Needs Rodeo, and it was such a wonderful experience! They got to cheer on the participants, lend a helping hand, and be part of a morning filled with smiles, excitement, and plenty of rodeo fun.

One of the best parts of being royalty is getting opportunities to step outside the arena and give back to the community. These are the moments that remind us that being a rodeo queen is about so much more than a crown. It’s about showing up, helping others, and making a difference wherever you can.

We are so proud of Kelsey and Falynn for representing the Owyhee Riding Club with such big hearts!

One year ago today, the rodeo community lost a beautiful young soul far too soon.

Sharing this in memory of Amelia and the light she brought to those around her. Her time with us was much too short, but the memories she left behind will never be forgotten.

Please take a moment today to remember sweet Amelia and keep her family in your thoughts.

One year ago today, our rodeo family lost a very special young lady. ❤️
Today marks one year since we said goodbye to Amelia Palmer, our Treasure Valley Rodeo Mini Queen 2024–2025.
Amelia may have worn a little crown, but she carried something much bigger with her. She brought joy, sweetness, and a light that reached far beyond the arena. She was a part of our rodeo family, and being our Mini Queen will forever be a part of the story we share.
It’s hard to believe a whole year has passed. Time keeps moving, the arena fills again, the dirt gets kicked up, the lights come on, and another rodeo comes and goes. But there are some people who never really leave us. They become part of the heart of the rodeo itself.
Today, we remember Amelia. We remember her smile, her spirit, and the joy she brought to those around her.
Once our Mini Queen, always our Mini Queen. 👑❤️
You are still loved. You are still remembered. And you will always have a place in the Treasure Valley Rodeo family.
Rest peacefully, sweet Amelia. Until we meet again. 🌻❤️🌻

The rodeos may be slowing down, but our royalty isn’t!

Our Owyhee Riding Club royalty got together to start talking about what the fall and winter will look like for our girls. Just because rodeo season comes to an end doesn’t mean the job of representing our club, our community, and the western way of life stops!

There are still plenty of opportunities for our girls to get out into the community, meet new people, support local events, learn, and make memories together. We’re excited to see what the next few months bring and find new ways for our queens to stay involved.

And we want to hear from ❤️ YOU! ❤️Is there an event, community activity, business, or organization you would love to see our girls attend this fall or winter? Drop it in the comments or send us a message! We’d love to hear your ideas and see where our crowns take us next.

The arena may get a little quieter, but our girls still have plenty of work to do!

Another fun day in the rodeo queen world!

Yesterday, our Sweetheart, Falynn, headed back to the Kuna Stampede Rodeo to watch the speech portion of the Kuna Stampede Rodeo Queens Contest. She got to hear the contestants share their stories and their love for rodeo, but she also got to spend the day with some familiar faces and make some fun memories!

Falynn especially enjoyed hanging out with the newly crowned Owyhee County Rodeo Queen, Andreah. The two girls spent most of the day together, visiting, laughing, and enjoying the contest side by side. It’s always so special watching these friendships grow through the rodeo queen community.

And a huge CONGRATULATIONS to all of the new queens crowned this year! We can’t wait to see all the amazing things you accomplish during your reign. Welcome to the rodeo queen family!

A morning at the Kuna Stampede Rodeo

Our Sweetheart, Falynn, got to check out the Kuna Stampede Queen Contest horsemanship competition this morning! She enjoyed watching the contestants show off their riding skills and getting to see another part of what goes into competing for a rodeo queen title.

And she’s not done yet! Falynn will be back tomorrow to watch the speech portion of the contest and cheer on the contestants. We love giving her opportunities to watch, learn, and support other young ladies in the rodeo queen community.

Good luck to all of the Kuna Stampede Rodeo Queen contestants! We can’t wait to see how the rest of the contest unfolds!

Rodeo Queen 101: Being a Role Model

Wearing a crown means more than representing a rodeo. It also means knowing that there are little girls watching, cheering, and dreaming about becoming a rodeo queen someday.

Being a role model isn’t about being perfect. It’s about showing kindness, working hard, encouraging others, being a good sport, and remembering that how you treat people can make a lasting impression.

Our queens have the opportunity to show the next generation that you can be confident, work hard, love your horses, support your community, and still be yourself.

Remember- The crown may only be worn for a year, but the example you set can last much longer.

Remembering Dolly Parton

The western and rodeo world has always had a soft spot for women who aren’t afraid to dream big, work hard, and be exactly who they are. Dolly Parton was a beautiful example of all three.

She once said, “My dream was to make as many people happy as I could in this life.” And what an incredible dream to leave behind. From her music to the countless children she helped through her Imagination Library, Dolly spent her life making a difference and encouraging others to dream a little bigger.

To the little girls who dream of wearing a crown, riding into an arena, standing on a stage, or simply making a difference in their community: dream big, work hard, stay kind, and never be afraid to be yourself.

Rest easy, Dolly. Thank you for showing generations of girls that you can be both strong and kind, sparkle and substance, and that there is no such thing as a dream that’s too big.
